Wishon Lake

Wishon Lake is at an elevation of 7,200 and a part of the Kings River Drainage System. Located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada, it offers exceptional fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout. In addition, the angler will find numerous lakes and streams in and around the general area. Wishon Village RV Resort offers complete facilities in this relatively remote location. The U.S. Forest Service and PG&E operate campgrounds for visitor convenience. Those seeking a wilderness adventure will find trailheads leading into the John Muir and Dinkey Lakes Wilderness areas. The Helms Creek Hydroelectric Project affects water levels daily at Wishon. The lake features over 10 miles of shore line offering excellent fishing and a concrete ramp for those wishing to launch their boat.
